STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
Our College is centrally located in Vancouver, Canada – a city consistently recognized as one of the most beautiful and livable places in the world. Enjoy world-class dining, theatre, shopping, and entertainment with incomparable opportunities for outdoor fun and healthy living. Venture outside the campus to visit the many beaches and mountains that surround our local community.
Make friends outside class by joining a club, participating in intramural sports, volunteering, or attending special events such as campus BBQs, film nights, Studio 58 shows, and workshops.

Kickoff the semester
At the start of the term students are welcomed to Langara and connected to campus resources with a series of events, giveaways, snacks, and entertainment.
Join a club
One of the best ways to meet people is to join a club. There are dozens of clubs from animé to languages, or business to culture, for you to join. And if you can’t find one, talk to us at the Hub about starting something new.
Volunteer through VOLT
Be empowered to contribute to Langara and to our surrounding community through volunteerism with Langara’s VOLT Volunteer program. Over 3,500 students have participated in this popular student-driven volunteer program. It is rare to have an event on campus without an orange VOLT t-shirt in sight.
Build international connections.
Langara’s Global Volunteers support cultural events, international student orientation, and ongoing activities to deepen a shared cultural connection between students on campus.

Do you love theatre? Enjoy outstanding productions each year from our Theatre Arts program, Studio 58.
Work hard. Play even harder.
Are you a team player? Whether you are a spectator or a member of the team, come and spread the Falcon’s team spirit. Want to stay active? Kick a soccer ball or bat around a badminton birdie during intramurals. Intramurals include basketball, badminton, volleyball, indoor soccer, and other recreational activities.
