CREDENTIALS & CONTINUED LEARNING
Earn your associate degree or diploma, then apply your academic credits to a bachelor’s degree offered at Langara, or transfer them to a second- or third-year standing at one of Canada’s top universities. Shorter programs culminating in citations and certificates are also available.

Bachelor’s Degree
A bachelor’s degree paves the way for direct employment or for graduate studies in BC or abroad. To earn a bachelor’s degree, complete a minimum of 120 credits of university-level courses through full- or part-time studies in bioinformatics, business administration, or nursing.

Associate Degree
Lay a solid foundation for further study by earning an associate degree. Complete at least 60 credits in the arts, sciences, social sciences, business, and/or humanities that are guaranteed to transfer to universities in BC such as UBC or SFU.

Diploma
Want to get started on your career right away? Langara offers diploma options in both limited enrolment and open enrolment programs which focus on work-ready learning. You can earn one by completing at least 60 credits in a specific program of study.

Certificate
Interested in a shorter program? Langara offers several certificate programs (30-42 credits) for you to choose from, many of which provide knowledge and skills to begin a career.

Citation
Earn one of six citations by completing at least 15 credits in a specific program of study.

Post-degree Certificate or Diploma
Augment your existing undergraduate education and broaden your professional skills with specialized credentials for practical application. These graduate studies programs are valuable for students who want to further their studies in a concentrated format.

Langara English for Academic Purposes (LEAP) Program
The LEAP program is an intensive English as an additional language program that prepares students for successful full-time study at English language universities and colleges. Students must meet basic English language requirements for admission.

Continuing Studies
Langara offers specialized career-focused programs and personal interest courses for those who are thinking about professional development or personal development. Whether you are looking to upgrade your skills in your current role or wanting to pick up a special skill, there are many possible avenues to develop your abilities.
Transferability.
Our programs are accredited by British Columbia’s Ministry of Advanced Education. Transfer between Langara and other institutions in BC is organized through the BC Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT).
