TCDC: Course Planning workshop

Are you interested in learning how to simplify your course planning? An outcomes-based approach to teaching and learning facilitates course planning and improves student learning by focusing on what the students are expected to learn and do (rather than on what the teacher is going to teach).

In this workshop, you will:

• explore the benefits of outcomes-based approaches to student learning; and
• learn how to align teaching and learning activities and assessments to clear, measurable learning outcomes to simplify and streamline course planning.

This is a hands-on workshop, so please bring your course syllabus/outline and any assessments/assignments you use for the course you would like to work on.
