Welcoming Shannon Eeckhout

Shannon Eeckhout – Executive Assistant, People Services

We are pleased to announce that Shannon Eeckhout joined Langara on August 21, 2017 on a permanent full-time basis; and is supporting Dawn Palmer, Vice President of People Services. Shannon has a strong background in both Human Resources (HR) and Executive and Administrative Support.  Familiar with the post-secondary sector, she has a total combined 10 years’ experience, having worked at BCIT and VCC in an HR capacity. In addition to providing direct support to the VP, she will also be a key administrative resource to a number of strategic initiatives and working groups/ committees; such as, mental health, sexual violence and misconduct, retirees and smoke-free. We have no doubt she will be an excellent asset to the People Services team and the College.
