Labor Disruption – September 11 – Service Update

Please note the labor disruption at PBC has concluded and full operations will be resumed over the next few weeks.  During the labor disruption; services, particularly the processing of paper claims, were significantly impacted. PBC encourages members who are waiting on paper claims to resubmit claims online through the website or mobile app (photocopies of receipts will be accepted during this time). In addition, utilize the following digital claiming options for the fastest service:

• Visit CARESnet to check the status of your claim or pre-authorization.
• Click here for a list of 33 newly added e-claim services for which claims can be submitted online.
• Use an Insta-Claim health provider, who will submit your claim on your behalf and you only pay the difference. Click here to find an Insta-Claim Health Provider.
• Visit a Preferred Pharmacy Network, who will accept your compound prescriptions and bill them electronically so that you don’t have to submit a paper claim. Click here to find a Pharmacy that is a part of the Preferred Network.
