Mobile video conferencing coming soon

As a part of the meeting room upgrades, we’re working to convert the T224 video conferencing codec to a mobile unit that can be used anywhere on campus. And we’re happy to share that we’re making good headway with this. A working video conferencing unit is expected to be available for loan out come January 2018.

Please note that this is different than a typical web conferencing application such as Skype. The new video conferencing unit is intended to be used for high quality point-to-point H.323 / SIP calls, or with a bridging service like BlueJeans.
