Pen recycling

Ever encountered ‘dead’ white board pens when you arrive in a classroom? Of course you have, and most of them end up in the trash. Now there is an alternative – any and all used pens (white board, highlighters, ball point, etc.) can be dropped off in the labelled box in the employee mail room.

Please help us divert these items from the landfill. Thank you!

Most of the white board markers in our classrooms still have usable ink in them, they have just dried out due to caps left off. They can often be revived quite easily – see this link for 2 options:
