Internationalization Strategy Development
Developing an internationalization strategy is a process that allows the college to respond with intention to changes on our campus that reflect the world we live in today. We have the opportunity to look ahead and make choices for our campus – how to support our diverse student population and employees, and how to prepare our students with an intercultural understanding that will allow them to succeed in whatever comes next after their time at Langara.
To develop this strategy we will:
- Redefine internationalization in the Langara context
- Identify, evaluate, and support existing internationalization activities
- Develop goals, strategies, responsibilities, and measurable outcomes to advance internationalization
- Communicate our internationalization strategy to the Langara community
- Identify ways that internationalization can inform the strategic plan and current practices
The forums will be a world cafe discussion on themes of internationalization.
Please join us at one of the Internationalization Strategy Development (ISD) forums listed below. This will be an opportunity to hear preliminary results from the Faculty Perspective Interviews (Michael Peterson report) and contribute to the goals and objectives of this initiative.
Registration is required and space is limited. If you have a name tag, please wear it to this session.
