Langara College is committed to creating a civil, respectful, cooperative and non-discriminatory workplace environment in which all employees are treated with respect and dignity. There are many benefits to a respectful workplace; including, but not limited to greater teamwork, improved working environment, higher productivity, and an increase in creativity, initiative and an overall positive atmosphere!
WorkSafeBC requires all employers in BC to train their employees on recognizing, responding to, and reporting bullying and harassment. To ensure compliance with this legislation that was passed in 2013, People Services developed an online Respectful Workplace Training course, to supplement the workshops that are conducted by our Human Resource Consultants throughout the year. We hope you will find the on-line training helpful and we appreciate your taking the time to complete this mandatory training.
