2018 Employee Recognition recap
On April 19, 2018, Langara College hosted its annual employee recognition event where all Langara Employees were celebrated for their remarkable contributions. This year’s Honour Role recognized 77 long service recipients, 25 esteemed retirees and 4 excellence award recipients.
We would like to highlight this year’s Recognition & Achievement Award recipients who were honoured for their achievements and contributions to both the College and community.
- Leadership Excellence – Kathy Hanson, Biology
- Scholarly Excellence – John Russell, Philosophy
- Service Excellence – Brian McGibney, Fine Arts
- Teaching Excellence – Stephanie Koonar, Marketing Management
