Community Cupboard: feeding students in need

Food is a basic necessity, yet many students are going without. Students are choosing to pay their rent, tuition, and textbooks over food. The Langara Community Cupboard was established to provide emergency food packages and other essential items to students in need. If a student comes to you and they are hungry please send them to the Community Cupboard, which can be accessed through the Registrar & Enrolment Services Advising Office in the T Building (T121).

The community cupboard has been the benefactor of many on-campus projects since it was established last year.

Thank you to the Continuing Studies RMT program for helping to stock the cupboard by offering half price on Saturday massage treatments to anyone who brings in two non-perishable food donations. Offer ends December 8, 2018.
