Pumpkin Carving Contest Fundraiser for United Way
Does your department want to win bragging rights for Best Decorated Pumpkin? Are you ready to carve, paint or bedazzle your way to glory and fame, and help children and seniors in the community thrive? Back by popular demand, the Langara United Way Employee Campaign is holding a pumpkin-carving competition on Wednesday, October 31st as part of its Campaign Kick-Off fundraising event. Along with other fun Halloween-themed activities, attendees can vote for their favourite pumpkin. Votes counted at 2:15 pm and the pumpkin with the most votes wins!
How to Order Your Pumpkin:
- Email Dionne Orrange at dorrange@langara.ca by Friday, October 26 to place your order. Quantities are limited.
- Pick up and pay for your pumpkin ($10) in C121 (Co-op and Career Development Office) anytime between October 22-29. Please bring exact change if possible.
- Bring your pumpkin to the Employee Lounge between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm on Wednesday, October 31st. Pumpkins will be on display
throughout the Kick-Off Event.
The winner will receive a $50 gift card (along with the bragging rights)!
