LANGARA’S CELEBRATION STATION IS OPEN TODAY FROM 4-6pm.
Biking to work is exhilarating, prevents greenhouse gas emissions, burns calories, saves money and leads to healthy and sustainable communities.
Take up the challenge and reduce your carbon footprint. Let’s make Langara a more sustainable institution.
Bike to Work Week is approaching. The Metro Vancouver-wide event is organized by HUB, Your Cycling Connection, whose mission is to get more people cycling, more often.
Langara College has registered a team for Bike to Work Week. If you bicycle to work or would like to start, please join the Langara College team at http://bikehub.ca/registration.
Once registered, you can map out your bike route on-line and log your rides. Langara employees that log at least one bicycle ride during Bike to Work Week have a chance to win a cycling trip for 2 in Sicily from HUB and MEC gift cards from Langara College.
If you joined the Langara College team before, you are still registered.
If you would like to start cycling to the College, Fulton Tom (firstname.lastname@example.org) can help with bicycle route planning and finding a bike buddy to cycle with you.
