Nov 27 – Giving Tuesday Celebration Station
It’s Giving Tuesday on November 27 and you’re invited to join the celebration. Giving Tuesday is a global movement that celebrates the act of giving and giving back and is when many come together to volunteer and raise funds for good causes.
This Giving Tuesday, we want to celebrate Langara’s VOLT program and our student volunteers who give back to our community year-round. Since starting in 2010, the program has contributed more than 57,000 volunteer hours at on-campus events, and organizations across the lower mainland and abroad.
On November 27, help us celebrate their contributions and raise funds so they can do more. Join us at the Giving Tuesday Celebration station to learn how.

Visit the Celebration Station for fun activities, including:
- Give a toonie to say thanks and enter the draw to win
- Taking photos at the Giving Tuesday selfie station
- Enjoy cake from our Giving Tuesday partner, Langara Students’ Union from 11:30 am
- Learn more about VOLT program, its impact and meet some of our amazing volunteers
