Canada produces approximately 700 kilograms of garbage per person annually and the amount of waste rises significantly around Christmas.

Last month, Canada’s environment ministers announced a goal of reducing garbage by half by 2040. To cut down on waste, we need to rethink our choices during the Christmas season.
