Announcing New QAPA Project Director

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Sunita Wiebe to Langara as the successful candidate for the Quality Assurance Process Audit (QAPA) Project Director position. The QAPA Project Director will be responsible for ensuring Langara is prepared for a successful QAPA Review. The role involves reviewing current processes, policies, and procedures relevant to academic program review and curriculum development, facilitating activities during the audit, writing institutional reports, and preparing recommendations for the future.

Dr. Wiebe brings over fifteen years of experience designing and leading quality assurance strategic initiatives in a variety of B.C. post-secondary institutions. With a long list of accomplishments including designing and launching four applied Bachelor degree programs, developing numerous curricula and instructor training workshops, and leading Kwantlen through the preparation for a 2019 QAPA audit Dr. Wiebe is the ideal fit for this position.
