Langara IT: Maintenance outage – Feb 17-18

As a part of an ongoing commitment to maintain services, Langara IT continually enhances and upgrades systems and software. 

This notification outlines an upcoming maintenance window for network upgrades.

Network Maintenance 

Date/Times(s) Sunday, February 17 (7am – 7pm)
Monday, February 18 (7am – 7pm) 
Type Maintenance / Outage window
Description Upgrade network equipment 
Customer Impact Most computer and network services will experience intermittent
outages throughout the weekend 
as they are migrated to the new network, including:

  • UPass
  • Banner
  • MyFiles
  • D2L Logins
  • Internet access
  • Network
  • WiFi
  • iWeb and CourseWeb
  • Phones and elevator phones
  • Impark

Note: Buildings will be closed on Monday, February 18, while emergency and non-emergency phones are serviced.

Maintenance windows are selected to minimize down-time possible for critical College systems.
