Cooks needed: Langara Cooks (Mar 7)

We are hosting the third annual Langara Cooks on March 7 and I’d like to invite your team to compete for food favourite (Langara Cooks Champion) amongst those attending. This event is so much fun and the winner gets to take home a trophy and bragging rights as the best Langara cook!

At last year’s event, food ranged from smoked salmon to pulled pork buns to gyoza; there was something for everyone.

Here are the details for this year’s event:

Thursday, March 7
11:00 am–1:00 pm (set up available at 10 am)
T Building Gallery

• Bring a pre-cooked food item (tasting portions for 100 people). Guest plates/bowls/cutlery will be provided compliments of Chartwells. You are responsible for warming equipment, if needed.
• Guests will sample all of the food choices and vote on their favourite.
• Winner will be announced at the SOS wrap-up event on March 29.
