Deadline extended & student prizes: Applied Research Day
The deadline to submit a project for presentation at Applied Research Day (formerly the Scholarship Cafe) has been extended to Thursday, February 28. Don’t miss the chance to share your research, scholarly activity, or social innovation project at this exciting annual showcase. This open-house style event has been organized to allow attendees plenty of time to interact with and learn from our presenters.
An exciting new addition to this year’s event is the Applied Research and Social Innovation Student Challenge. All student presenters will have the chance to win one of three prizes and receive a certificate of participation. Encourage your students to submit a project – first prize is $200!
Judges will score the student projects based on the following criteria:
- Passion
- Competence
- Impact & innovation
- Communication & presentation skills
