March 21–31: Studio 58 presents Hot House

Studio 58 is thrilled to introduce a new mainstage initiative: Hot House. Hot House, n. (hát háws) is a transparent structure where budding student artists who require warm, regulated conditions can grow.

This production showcases senior acting and production students, allowing them to complete an entire theatrical production cycle by themselves, supported by the expert feeding and watering from dedicated mentors. Overseen by Vancouver director Fay Nass, with support from professional mentors in set, props, costume, lighting, sound and video design; our students will showcase their skills in a variety of areas, including acting, playwriting, directing, designing, stage managing, and tech.

Hot House offers a series of fresh takes on the theme of betrayal. Two different programs, ‘A’ and ‘B’, run in matinee and evening performances.
