New programs in VFX and Game Design

The Continuing Studies department is pleased to announce additional programs that will be offered at the new Langara Centre for Entertainment Arts on Great Northern Way in Vancouver. These advanced programs in 3D Animation, Visual Effects, and Game Design prepare students for a growing number of careers in the entertainment arts industry.

Applications are now being accepted for Advanced Visual Effects and Advanced Game Design. These programs will leverage the curriculum currently offered by the Academy of Arts University (ArtU).

To help launch the programs we are excited to be presenting, along with Emily Carr University of Art + Design, An Evening with the Artists of Game of Thrones. This presentation will feature the artists from the Vancouver-based Animation and Visual Effects team at Image Engine Design. A limited number of free tickets have been made available to the public, including prospective students.
