Development of our new Strategic Plan

Thanks to the dedication of our faculty and staff, Langara has made significant progress on the goals outlined in our 2020 Strategic Plan. As the plan will expire at the end of next year, the College’s Board and Senior Leadership Team are embarking on a process to develop the new plan, which will guide our direction from 2021–2025. The first step in this process is to engage members of the College community in an assessment of the environment in which we operate.

Starting next week, a random sample of students, faculty, and staff will receive invitations to participate in a short survey. If you receive the invitation, please do take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us. The survey results will be shared with the Board at a planning retreat this fall, and will help to shape the first draft of the plan. In the spring of 2020, there will be opportunities to provide input on the draft plan, to help us finalize it in the fall.

Your input and perspectives are critical to the development of a Strategic Plan that will truly reflect the vision of the College, and the opportunities before us. Thank you in advance for participating in this important process.
