Call for members: Mental health working group
The Mental Health Advisory Committee seeks new members for two of its working groups to:
- increase training opportunities for employees and students on topics related to mental health and wellness, and
- develop an evaluation framework that measures the effectiveness and progress of the 2018-21 Mental Health Framework, with a view to creating a longer-term mental health strategy, as well as supporting the College’s (ongoing) participation in the new Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey.
These working groups meet monthly (with a reduced summer schedule) and make recommendations to the Mental Health Advisory Committee.
Membership terms are two years, from September 2019 to August 2021, with a check-in at the one-year mark to assess ongoing availability and interest.
All employees are encouraged to join!
Please submit all questions and expressions of interest to Tanya Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, September 13.
