Santa Shuffle Fun Run & Elf Walk
Grab your Santa hats and ugly sweaters and get ready to shuffle!
On Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00 am get into the holiday spirit by participating in the Santa Shuffle – Fun Run & Elf Walk at Stanley Park!
The Santa Shuffle is an annual 5km Fun-Run and 1km Elf Walk to fund raise for local Salvation Army initiatives which provide hope and support to those in need across Canada. This event is for all ages and skill levels. Whether you run, walk or prance, the Santa Shuffle is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and make a difference in your community!
The route starts near Lumberman’s Arch, continues through Stanley Park, and along the seawall. Once the run is complete, we encourage you to hang out and take a Langara group photo, listen to music, enter for an opportunity to win prizes, and enjoy a complimentary chili lunch.
HR will sponsor 30 registrations for employees and their family members. The registration deadline is Friday, November 22 at 3:00pm. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis; hurry and register now by sending an email to wellness@langara.ca with the following information:
- Employee ID
- Full name
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Full Address including Postal Code
- Phone Number
- Email address
- Whether you will be running or walking
- And whether you’d like to participate in the 5km Run or 1km Walk
