De-stress Fest is back and will be running from November 25–December 6. This end of semester wellness campaign is aimed at helping students boost their minds and bodies so that they can stay resilient through exam period. Please share with your students and encourage them to attend.
Favourite activities including therapy dogs, wellness kits, fuel up stations, and a colouring lounge will be available.
New activities include:
- Yoga – 30-minute and 60-minute yoga sessions will be offered on a variety of days. Students can bring their own mat or borrow one (supplies limited).
- Build Your Own Medicine Bundle – Learn how to make a traditional Indigenous medicine bundle from Elder in Residence, Mary Jane Joe.
- Light Lounge – Take advantage of Langara’s new light therapy lamps! These lamps will brighten your day and help boost your mood in 15 to 30 minutes. Drop-in at The Hub or sign one out in the Library.
