Being a beginner can be equally as exciting as it is daunting. You made the decision to be a beginner at something likely because you were inspired by the skills of an expert. I have found myself in “the gap” before, and I’m finding myself in it again as a student in this program. I came across this video and I wished that I had found it years ago. It verbalizes the very reason why creative pursuits are often abandoned before they ever really have a chance to begin. This time though, things will be different. I may be in “the gap”, but I can see it, and I know what needs to be done to transcend it.
