Pacific Blue Cross – July 14 service update

Pacific Blue Cross has experienced a work stoppage by their 600 unionized staff. Please note that services and service levels could temporarily be impacted.

  • During the strike, the Member Service call center will no longer be operational but many questions can be answered on CARESnet.
  • Online and mobile app claims are not affected and continued to be processed.
  • Paper claims are being received, opened, date stamped and stored securely onsite. When work resumes they will be processed in accordance with any claiming deadlines.
