Become a host family

Hosting an international student is a rewarding experience enjoyed by many families, including many of our own employees who continue to host international students year after year. After 30 years, the Langara Homestay program has helped more than 30,000 international students find the right home in the Lower Mainland.

We have opportunities starting immediately, and families are compensated at an average of:

• $850 monthly for a Langara student
• $950 monthly for a high school student

Students in the program are studying at Langara College or within the Vancouver or Burnaby School Districts. They come from all over the world to study and are placed with host families for stays from two weeks to ten months.
