Municipal Pension Plan contribution rates
Attention all BCNU and CUPE Members,
Municipal Pension Plan contribution rates for the College will increase by 0.01%, effective January 1, 2018 and will be reflected on the January 5th pay.
The new rate is as follows:
- College – 9.61% (from 9.60%)
Employee rates remain the same at:
- 8.50% for contributions up to the Year’s Maximum Pensionable Earnings
- 10.00% for contributions over the Year’s Maximum Pensionable Earnings
Also, please note the Year’s Maximum Pensionable earnings amount has changed to $55,900 (from $55,300). For more information, please visit the Municipal Pension Plan website and click on myAccount.
