Mar 2 – Vancouver District Science Fair

Langara welcomes on March 2 the Vancouver District Science Fair for the sixth consecutive year. Hosted by Langara Mathematics & Sciences Division, the VDSF is a district-wide event where Vancouver public school students in grades 7 to 12 share their science projects. While competing against other school projects, students gain valuable hands-on experience in a wide range of topics related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and become more scientifically literate.

The fair also enables participants to meet students and members of the scientific community that they might not meet otherwise — industry professionals, graduate students, and college faculty. Student projects are evaluated by a judging panel and the finalists earn a spot at the Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair in April at UBC.

Participants and invited public will be arriving at the College on Friday, March 2, from 3 pm onwards. Please be advised that this event might impact parking traffic and spots availability. The main venues are the Gymnasium and T Building Gallery.
