Staffing Changes in International Education

The International Education Department is pleased to announce that Kailey Milroy has been appointed Manager, International Student Services (ISS) and will begin this role on July 16, 2018. Kailey has been employed by Langara College since 2013 and has worked in the Homestay Department as a Program Assistant and Homestay Coordinator, and in the Langara School of Management as an International Student Coordinator supporting the Post-Degree Diploma programs. Kailey has a Master of Teaching degree from University of Newcastle, Australia and has also worked in student services in a post-secondary setting and as an elementary school teacher.

Kailey’s portfolio will include leading the International Student Coordinator team and the IE Assistants in support of international student transition and success, and managing IE front office operations.  Teresa Brooks will continue to have oversight of the ISS unit while establishing and maintaining plans that support the College’s strategic goals and internationalization initiatives.
