The College is committed to implementing programs that support the succession and retention of faculty and staff as outlined in the College’s 2020 Strategic Plan (2016-2020). As faculty face a myriad of issues in leadership roles, the initiation of a Faculty Leadership Development Program is aimed at providing them with increased support. Phase 1 of the three part program launched on Thursday, June 22nd and was a great success with a high turnout of 90 participants! This program was initiated in response to feedback received from faculty in a September 2015 survey, where they identified Mentorship (orientation and training) as key in aspiring to and succeeding in leadership roles.
