Join us for SOS this March

March is Support our Students month at Langara and we are excited for 2018! SOS celebrates Langara’s spirit of giving, the generosity of our faculty and staff, and the many things that we do as a community to foster student success.

Thanks to your support, in 2017, current employees, retirees, and members of our board and advisory groups helped to raise almost $135,000 in direct financial, academic, and experiential supports for Langara students.

We hope you will join us for SOS this year and celebrate our community. You can support SOS by attending an event, donating to the College, or host an event within your department. All funds raised in March will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the College – doubling your impact.

2018 SOS ACTIVITIES 

• Thursday, March 1 – SOS Launch 
  Join us for coffee, treats and see what we have in store for 2018.
• Thank a colleague with a Golden Apple Award
  Nominations open now (until March 2)
• Piggy Pageant
  Dress up your pig and feed it cash to win the crown. Register your pig.
• Thursday, March 8 – Langara Cooks 
  A festival of food cooked by talented Langara employees. $10 entry – tickets are limited. To register as a competitor or get your ticket, email csander@langara.ca or rnoel@langara.ca.
• Wednesday, March 21 – Plant Sale
  Buy a plant and add some colour to your office.
• Tuesday, March 27 – SOS Auction & Golden Apple Awards ceremony
  Bid on a range of exciting items and celebrate Langara heroes.
