Staffing update in International Education

Dear Colleagues,

It with mixed emotions that I announce Ruminder Buttar is leaving Langara College to pursue a personal international venture. Ruminder has been part of the International Education team since 2013, most recently in the role as one of our Associate Directors for International Marketing & Business Development.  Ruminder’s leadership and contributions has led to Langara College being recognized as a key leader in international education within BC and Canada.  He was instrumental in diversifying our international student demographics and working with colleagues across the institute to support the development of programs in both Regular and Continuing Studies.  He is truly a unique individual and will be missed.  Ruminder’s last day at Langara College will be Friday, June 29, 2018.

Going forward, we will be reviewing the International Marketing and Recruitment team’s needs to support the College.  In the interim, if you have any questions related to Ruminder’s portfolio please contact Brad Van Dam or myself.
