Sep 22-23: Failover testing for secondary datacentre
Langara IT will be conducting failover testing of the new secondary datacentre in September and October. Testing is scheduled to occur on:
- Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23 evenings (6:00 pm to midnight)
- Saturday, October 6, 2018 and Sunday, October 7 days (9:00 am to 6:00pm)
These dates were selected to minimize disruption of critical College systems.
IT services including WiFi, Internet, Banner, myLangara/Portal, myLangara student email, and D2L may experience minor outages of one minute or less.
Exceptions:
- Phones will remain active
- Code Blue systems for emergency support will remain active
