Oct 22 & 29 – Langara master plan town halls

Dear colleagues,

We invite you to attend the upcoming town hall events to hear the latest information on the Langara College draft 25-year master plan and five-year capital plan.

One year ago, we took our first step towards updating the College master plan by inviting the Langara community to participate in world café workshops. These collaborative workshops were intended to gather information to help frame the decision on how and where to enhance the campus over the next 30 years. The goal was to collect feedback directly from our community in order to develop a better, more informed, and more inclusive long-range plan to house programs and services, celebrate and promote Langara’s excellence and welcome and better engage the community at large.

Since that time, we have analyzed and incorporated your feedback to develop a full and comprehensive draft 25-year master plan for the College. These town hall information sessions are an opportunity for Langara employees to have a first look at the 25 year master plan. The sessions will include a presentation of the draft master plan, an update on the five-year capital plan, and a question and answer period at the end.

Two sessions are available:

Monday, October 22 | 11:30–12:30pm
Monday, October 29 | 12:30–1:30pm

All sessions will be held in the T Building Gallery (Science & Technology Building, second floor). Leading these sessions will be Wendy Lannard, Senior Facilities Consultant, and members of the Master Plan consulting team.
