Adopt-a-Plot People’s Choice Award

On Saturday, June 15, during the 49 on 49th celebrations, the Adopt-a-Plot gardens were viewed and enjoyed by the public and votes were cast for the people’s favourite plot. There were 143 votes cast.

I am very happy to announce that the WINNER of the people’s choice award goes to plot #4 belonging to Patricia Wong from Human Resources who received 31% of votes cast. Congratulations.

All the plots in the competition look great, so congratulations to all who have contributed to making the site much more beautiful than it was.

As for the other second half of the competition (judge’s choice): 3 of 4 judges and have submitted their results. I will announce the winner of the first stage soon. The overall winner will be the plot with the most number of points over the two judgment dates, in June and September.

Thank you to those who participated. We look forward to announcing the winner of the judge’s choice (green thumb award) in the fall. In the meantime, please enjoy the gardens throughout the summer.
