IT maintenance updates: Aug 19 & 26
Sunday, August 19, 6:00 pm–11:59 pm: Citrix Maintenance
On Sunday August 19th from 06:00 pm–11:59 pm, we will be performing maintenance on the Citrix virtual desktop environment. During maintenance, access to the Citrix desktops will be unavailable.
If you have any concerns regarding the above maintenance, please contact Mazen Estepho at mestepho@langara.ca or local 5008 no later than August 17th.
Sun Aug 26, 10:00 am to 10:00 pm : End of Term Security Updates to all IT Systems
On Sunday Aug 26th from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, we will be applying security updates to all IT systems, as a part of the end of term maintenance program.
The following services WILL be available:
- Student Records, Finance and HR system (Banner)
- myLangara Portal
- myLangara student email
- College website (www.langara.ca)
- O365 employee Email
- Brightspace by D2L
- Lynda.com
- UPASS
- eScribe
- On campus Internet and WiFi
- The Telephone and Voicemail system
- CS classes scheduled in Computer labs
(Note: all open labs will be closed)
The following services will be intermittently UNAVAILABLE for up to 2 hours during maintenance:
- myLibrary
- Off-campus file access (myFiles)
- On-campus access to network drives (H:, J:, and O: drives)
- The printing system
- iWeb
- CourseWeb
- printshop.langara.ca
