New Chair, Management Programs Division

I am pleased to announce that Antonella Alves has been appointed as Chair, Management Programs Division, for a two-year term, effective May 1, 2017 to April 30, 2019. Antonella’s appointment was put forward by the Recommendation Committee which reviewed applications for this role.

Prior to this appointment, Antonella served as Department Chair in the Business Management and International Business Department. She was an active member of the Langara School of Management, as instructor since 2008, Assistant Chair (2010-16), and Coordinator, Post-Degree Programs (2015-16). She received the Langara College Service Excellence Award in 2008.

Division Chairs play an important role in the success of Langara College. I wish Antonella all the best in her new role in the Management Programs Division.
