Call for Langara mental health stories

We want to hear from you!

Do you have a feel-good or inspiring story or experience of a time when you helped support the mental health and well-being of others at the College? Or a time when someone reached out to you?

Maybe you helped a student through a hard time, or were there for a colleague when they needed it most; maybe your story is related to the theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day, “working together to prevent suicide”.

The Mental Health Advisory Committee wants to recognize the many ways we create a caring community at Langara every day by showcasing your stories of resilience, support, hope, resourcefulness, and compassion throughout Mental Illness Awareness Week, October 7–11.

  • 150–500 words
